Hanna’s Project One Roles of Choice

Writer: Hurrah! Well, as I am studying writing, I thing it makes sense that I would want to contribute considerably to the writing process of our play. I’m looking forward to coming up with and writing vignettes and also helping fit others together. I like editing too.  I’ve written two plays, several monologues and have taken 3 different playwriting classes. I also have a bachelor’s degree in drama. My second play is in consideration for the John Lyons New play Readings next year.
So this is my stuff. I’m looking forward to marrying everyone’s ideas together so that we all have something we want in the show. I think the comedy/tragedy combo is great and can be really successful.

Actor:   As I’m sure all of you know, performing is a passion of mine. I totally want to play the short showgirl (I mean, obviously) if we continue to have her in the story. I’ve been in several theatrical productions, both plays and musicals. This summer I played Bonnie in Anything Goes. I had two solos and was a featured tap dancer. I also received an A in Barry Gordon’s Acting class, a graduate level course. I’ve very excited to get on stage!

Costumer:

I love dress-up and I get excited when thinking about putting together the wearable visual landscape of our show. I’m really excited to search through the costume shop and thrift stores in order to find the perfect clothing pieces we need. I have spent time in a University Costume shop learning how to hand sew and being surrounded by the costume design and building process. I’ve worked backstage as a dresser for a University production of Little Women.  I also have taken a University level Costume design class. Vintage clothes are my fave!
